'''Hamlin Island''' (Japanese: '''デコポン島''' ''Dekopon Island'') is the northernmost island in the [[Orange Archipelago]]. Because of its proximity, it serves as a gateway to the [[Kanto]] region. A ferry carries passengers between [[Pallet Town]] and a tiny island connected by a bridge to Hamlin Island. In ''[[EP114|The Underground Round Up]]'', when the smaller island was overrun with {{p|Electrode}}, {{p|Diglett}} Rancher {{oi|Poncho}} was called in to get rid of the Electrode, but was later fired due to his Electrode-friendly method taking too long and not cost-effective. Team Rocket were next in line to round up the Electrode. When Team Rocket were going to run over {{TP|Misty|Togepi}}, {{AP|Pikachu}}, and a {{p|Voltorb}}, Poncho stepped in and sent out his {{p|Dugtrio}}. The Electrode were eventually relocated to the open area in the middle of the larger island.
