It was later reprinted as a holographic ADV-P Promotional card and awarded to participants of the regional Spring 2003 Battle Road tournaments. The English release of this card was distributed in the October 2003 issue of [[Nintendo Power]] magazine. In Australia, the card was distributed in an issue of the kids magazine, K-Zone. All of these promotions were released alongside {{TCG ID|Nintendo Promo|Kyogre ex|1}}.
This card was first available as a Holofoil {{TCG|Nintendo Black Star Promos|Nintendo Black Star Promo}}, and was given to participants of the Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire Challenge, held at several locations across the United States in August 2003. A Non Holofoil version was subsequently distributed in the October 2003 issue of ''[[Nintendo Power]]'' magazine. This print features a Dot Code strip for use with the [[e-Reader]].
