 In [[HZ014]], Friede dispersed a group of Magneton disturbing the connection around the Brave Asagi. Fending them off, he restored the connection and left to pursue one of the Magneton. However, this ended up being a lure into an ambush by [[Spinel]], who remotely ordered his Pokémon to attack Friede's Charizard. Driven into a corner, Friede was forced to reveal his [[Tera Orb]], [[Terastal phenomenon|Terastallizing]] his Charizard and turning the odds enough to force Spinel's Pokémon to retreat.
