Dream Mist (Japanese ゆめのけむり Dream Smoke) is a quest item to unlock the C-Gear in Pokémon Black and White. When the player goes to the Dreamyard on Fennel's request to look for it, they find a Munna being attacked by Team Plasma. After the player has defeated Team Plasma in the Dreamyard, a Musharna comes to the rescue of the Munna, leaving the Dream Mist behind. Fennel will then take the Dream Mist and reward the player with the C-Gear.
In the anime
The Dream Mist appeared in the anime in Dreams by the Yard Full! where the Musharna used in the former Dreamyard sent it out from the Dreamyard site in huge clouds, making Dream Mist reach places like Striaton City and therefore causing Pokémon to fall asleep. One of the victims was Iris's Axew, which Fennel's Munna healed by inhaling the Dream Mist on Axew. Munna's floral pattern then turned pink and a puff of mist came out of Munna's nose revealing Axew's dream.
In the end Fennel and her Pokémon was able to stop the Dream Mist.
