'''Baron Alberto''' (Japanese: '''アルベルト男爵''' ''Baron Alberto'') is a character in ''[[M10|The Rise of Darkrai]]''. He constantly insists that all the trouble happening in [[Alamos Town]] was caused by {{mov|Darkrai|Darkrai|10}} and was intent on stopping it.  

During the events in the movie, he was transformed into his {{p|Lickilicky}} due to a combination of Darkrai's {{m|Dark Void}} and {{p|Palkia}}'s interference with space. Lickilicky dreamed that it was Alberto and thus Alberto became Lickilicky. Angered by this, Alberto offers a reward to whoever could take down Darkrai. Later on he turns back to his normal form when the effects of Dark Void fade.

 

Alberto is seen again during the credits of ''[[M12|Arceus and the Jewel of Life]]''. He is piloting his own hot air balloon and still attempting to win Alice's heart.

|desc={{p|Lickilicky}} is Alberto's main Pokémon. It is first seen during {{an|Darkrai}}'s first appearance when it tries to use {{m|Hyper Beam}}, but misses, resulting in Darkrai firing back a {{m|Dark Void}} which ends up hitting {{Ash}}. Later Lickilicky gets hit by Darkrai's Dark Void, causing him to fall into a nightmare. Due to {{an|Palkia}}'s space disruption, this nightmare causes Baron Alberto to transform into Lickilicky. [[Team Rocket]] are later seen carrying Lickilicky while it is asleep. After Lickilicky wakes up it tries to save [[Alice]] from falling off a bridge but fails leaving [[Tonio]] to help her.

Baron Alberto appears in the [[The Rise of Darkrai (manga)|manga adaption]] of ''[[M10|The Rise of Darkrai]]''. As in the movie, he insists that all the trouble happening in [[Alamos Town]] is caused by {{mov|Darkrai|Darkrai|10}}. He works with [[Team Rocket#The trio|Team Rocket]], thinking that they are working a on a documentary.

* Alberto's name is likely a pun on the Japanese name of {{p|Lickilicky|his Pokémon}}, causing him to be called "Baron Berobelt" (compare: '''アルベルト''' ''{{tt|Aruberuto|Alberto}}'' and '''ベロベルト''' ''{{tt|Beroberuto|Berobelt}}'') several times. He keeps his name in the dub and is called "Baron Lickilicky"; thus eliminating the pun. Adding to the joke, his overall appearance is based on a Licklilicky.

* Baron Alberto's name is changed to '''Gil Cacique''' in European Portuguese dub. His dub name was changed so that the pun with the name "Lickilicky" present in the Japanese version would also be in the European Portuguese version. Also, "cacique" is the name given to someone who has political power in a certain place.
