Miscellaneous

• Fossil was originall planned to be released in America around January 2000 (based on original Jungle estimates). But because Jungle was pushed ahead, so was Fossil.
• Wizards once again increased the set size by producing holographic and non-holographic versions of the rare cards, however, they removed the Mew card that was in the Japanese set. This was seen as a dreadful move, but it later appeared as Pokémon League Promo #8 (non-holographic) and Promo #9 (holographic).
