Perfect battle

A perfect battle is a type of outcome for a Pokémon battle. The requirement for a battle to be ruled Perfect is that the winning team must have all their Pokémon conscious, or with at least one Hit Point left on all those who battled.

The Pokémon Stadium series and Pokémon Battle Revolution reconize perfect battles and shall reward the player for achieving one with Continues (in Pokémon Battle Revolution, they are called Perfect Points), allowing players to fight against the same trainer they lost to in what would usually turn out as a Game Over. Continues and perfect points will only last for the Cup or Colosseum challenge the player is in.

It is very difficult to obtain a perfect battle when battling another person, unless one is using Legendaries or an Action Replay. However, since most in-game trainers are easy to beat with or without the two factors above in activation, perfect battles against them are very common. One could even go a whole route without a single Pokémon fainting, if they were prepared.
