Could Ash catch a Gligar in this episode or the leader Gliscor? Remember when Ash caught Muk, where it used to be leader of a group of Grimers, also like Squirtle?

Yes, he could. It is a very strong Pokémon that can help him much in the Sinnoh League battles and it is a evolve form of the old Pokémon!-Billy4b2004 09:15, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Because the pictures released of the episodes look like something could happen.

Oh crap I hope Paul doesn't get it.

From what I see here, Paul gets the Gliscor, and Ash captures one of the Gligar. New pages, methinks? Ash's Gligar and possibly Paul's Gliscor? (I say possibly because we don't know if he'll release it or what) -- Glitch and Official Pokémon. There is no real difference between the two. In my opinion, the two should be considered equal!-- quoted by Missingno. Master 11:54, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Man, I can't believe it. Ash caught a Gligar and not a Riolu. And he got his full team so damn early. (Ash didn't even reach the 3rd gym yet) File:Ani448MS.gifJmathFile:Ani447MS.gifTalkFile:Ani448MS.gif 13:44, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

No way he's carrying the team he'll take to the league. Release Turtwig (or maybe send it to Prof. Oak or have it jump over to Brock), Oak Gligar (or maybe release it), get the Riolu egg, catch a Snover or Tangela, and odds are then he'll be set. --Shiningpikablu252 16:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
No, the only likely changes are lots of evolutions between now and the league. --FabuVinny T-C-S 17:21, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

I completely agree with Fabu-Vinny and Lucario will be Dawn's.-Billy4b2004 09:00, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

My prediction is that Ash will definitely have Pikachu, Staraptor, Turtwig/Grotle/Torterra, Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape and Buizel/Floatzel. The reason for this is that Ash always has Pikachu, a flying ype, a grass type, a water type and a fire type in battles. It'll be cool to have Lucario in Ash's lineup. However, over 60 episodes have elasped and yet he only has 2 badges. This series is too slow and it needs to speed up sooner or later. Even if Paul gets a Glisor, Ash's will evolve as soon as he gets a Razor Fang. Lanturn 12:33, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

So you agree that he would Oak his Gliscor like Heracross?-Billy4b2004 13:12, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

I think it would continue to be slow, it needs episodes about Gen IV Pokémon.-Billy4b2004 06:38, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Oh, will Gligar join the pack again after evolving into Gliscor and become the new leader?-Billy4b2004 06:41, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

That's what I think too. Gligar's gonna go and Hippopotas will join Ash. --Theryguy512 22:29, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Weavile! You're back!! We missed so much!! We thought Paul released you!

Episode ordering

In Kanto, Ash filled his party with Squirtle two episodes before he first met Lt. Surge, the third Gym Leader. Now he did the same thing here. TTEchidna GSDS! 06:26, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

That should be added in the trivia. --File:Ani048MS.gifケンジFile:Ani183MS.gifガールFile:Ani123MS.gif 06:28, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Oh, that's interesting!-Billy4b2004 06:28, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
You don't mind that I did it for you, do you?-Billy4b2004 06:30, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Same Pokemon as rival

Read this from the trivia:

This is the second time that Ash and one of his rival caught a Pokémon of the same type of species, the first being both Ash and Gary owning a Krabby.

What about Tyson (Hoenn) and Sceptile? Does that mean that Pokemon League rivals don't count?--KukiTalk 23:02, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

I guess not... --ケンジガール 09:45, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

We really need to limit this. If we did Tyson's Sceptile we also have to put his donphan, Morrisons Gligar and seeing as its he same evolutionary family (Gligar and Gliscor) Garys Blastoise. Can we change it to the third time that one of Ashs pokémon has debued in the same episode as that of a rival. That way we can limit this to Krabby, Gligar and Starly.
