number of pokémon
the ability page says 12, this page only has 11 listed, I have no idea what the last one is, someone else please add it. Zurqoxn 09:14, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
I've fixed it, Burmy was missing. I find it somewhat disturbing that this was never corrected for such a long time.
Can Ekans have Shed Skin in Generation 3?

- I would think so. Generation IV added newly-created Abilities to old Pokemon, but as far as I know, it didn't add any old Abilities to old Pokemon. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 19:26, 16 September 2013 (UTC)

Probability
The probability was recently changed due to the Emerald disassembly, but Gen 5 datamining determined it to be 30%. So the exact probability appears to have changed between generations. --SnorlaxMonster 10:50, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
