The Time Flute (Japanese: ときのふえ Time Flute) is an item exclusive to Pokémon Colosseum. There are a total of three available.

Effect

When used at the Relic Stone in Agate Village, the Time Flute summons Celebi, who will instantly purify one Shadow Pokémon in the player's party, even if its Heart Gauge is not empty. This consumes the Time Flute.

Trivia

• If the player tries to give a Time Flute to a Pokémon (via the Pokémon List on the menu), the game gives the message, "TIME FLUTE isn't an item for a POKéMON to hold." This makes the Time Flute the only item that appears in the Item pocket of the bag that a Pokémon cannot hold.
  • This is likely done to prevent the player from giving the Time Flute to a Pokémon and trade it to another game, as the Time Flute is not found in any other game.
