Ash's Poipole (Japanese: サトシのベベノム Satoshi's Bebenomu) is the fourth Pokémon that Ash caught in the Alola region, and his fiftieth overall.
History
As a wild Pokémon
Poipole first appeared towards the end of The Professors' New Adventure!, when it was seen traversing an Ultra Wormhole. Poipole reappeared in SM061, in which it was roaming around Melemele Island. It later watched as Ash and his classmates battled against Buzzwole. It reappeared again in SM067. In which, it playing at the ocean, before recalling back Pikachu's Thunderbolt making itself look exciting to found him once again.

Poipole caught in SM067 inside the Ultra Guardian Headquarters at the bottom of Pokémon School.
Personality and characteristics
Poipole is shown to be quite playful with other Pokémon. In one instance of this in SM061, whilst Ash and his classmates were waiting to see if Buzzwole had been captured, Poipole attempted to play with Pikachu before flying off. It has also been show to have a strange fascination with light, as seen with Pikachus thunderbolt.
