Since this item is now available on Dream Radar....

Should I put that its obtainable in generation V thanks to that app? Because Im afraid that people might delete it off if I put it there. Antlionerd (talk) 22:05, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

I’d be happy about such information. Other pages also mentions items which you get from the Pokéwalker, GameCube games etc. so I think it should be fine. And why should this information be withheld, if people look at the page to find out where to get the item? Peterpansexuell (talk) 23:06, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Sacred Ash from ORAS

I received a Ho-oh from the GTS, and it appears to be holding sacred ash. It's possible for it to be available in ORAS. --HoennLove200 (talk) 16:22, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Not necessarily- someone could have hacked to get it. Nintendo's hack checks are spotty enough that I wouldn't be surprised if they'd let an unobtainable item go through the GTS. You might get the item normally by encountering Ho-oh, but I have AS so I can't check. Yamiidenryuu (talk) 23:15, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
    • I believe Ho-Oh can be caught with it in OR. --HoennLove200 (talk) 01:11, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

Repeatability of wild held items

Technically, the player could steal the Sacred Ash from Ho-Oh, then lose to it, flee from it, or (Gen IV onward) defeat it. If the player then re-enters the room (in Gen III) or enters the Hall of Fame (from Gen IV onward), they could then battle Ho-Oh again and steal its item again. However, for most players, this would not really be helpful to classify as a repeatable method even though it technically is. Should we count it as one? (Note that I haven't actually tried this, so it's possible that if you steal Ho-Oh's item it doesn't get it back, but I doubt it.) --SnorlaxMonster 03:02, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
