Spike Cannon and Sludge Bomb?

Serebii lists these moves as Pin Missile and Poison Sting. I know Serebii isn't a reliable source, but I am curious where this differentiation in information comes from and if anyone can/needs to double-check. Nutter Butter (talk) 17:54, 26 January 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, I usually check the moves listed there and there is usually at least one mistake posted there. James called out for Spike Cannon and the Sludge Bomb move looks exactly the same as it was in the previous two series and I don't think Mareanie can learn Mud Shot or Mud Bomb. Marieanie's Gender

Meowth said that Marianie found James "Handsome" (Ikemen) on top of being clearly attracted to him. Not saying it absolutely confirms Mareanie's gender, but put a pin in that statement for now. Kohdok (talk) 19:00, 27 January 2017 (UTC)

Uh... no. That confirms absolutely nothing. Don't assume gender because of behavioral patterns, because a guy can act like a girl, and the gender needs to be explicitly stated.--ForceFire 03:58, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
Obviously it's female, come on people.. Tditdatdwt (talk) 16:46, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
This argument has played out on an inordinate amount of talk pages over the years, and it's not constructive to go through the whole song and dance all over again when it's not going to change anything. Bulbapedia has specific standards for determining anime Pokemon genders. Period. Implications, suggestions and "obviousness" don't matter unless those specific standards are met: explicit statement of the gender either in dialogue or by use of Attract. Trivia

"Mareanie is James's first Pokemon since Cacnea to affectionately attack its Trainer." I originally wrote it as being Carnivine which is the case as Carnivine was the last to be seen--BigDocFan (talk) 19:16, 28 January 2017 (UTC)

Why do people keep getting rid of the "only one that isn't Grass" part of the trivia and citing Chimecho for it? I don't think Chimecho ever actually attacked James. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 20:12, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
Chimecho used Wrap on James's eyes when it was excited. So it is the last SINCE Carnivine, not the last non-Grass one. Someone is trying to dodge it being taken down due to this trivium's lack of notability. I'm proceeding to delete it. --BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 20:21, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
You're right about Wrap. However, policy states drought trivia is notable on anime pages. So as much as I disagree with that policy, the point is technically considered notable. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 20:29, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
Actually, I don't think Chimecho wrapping itself around James ever hurt him. Playerking95 (talk) 20:31, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, exactly- I never really saw that as being on the same level as Cacnea's hugs or Carnivine and Victreebel's chomping. Not to mention Chimecho almost never did that. I only recall it doing that in its debut episode, personally. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 21:09, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
