Kiawe's Charizard (Japanese: カキリザードン Kaki's Lizardon) is Kiawe's first known Pokémon.
History
Kiawe's Charizard first appeared in Alola to New Adventure! alongside its Trainer. Charizard was noticed by Ash, flying Kiawe to the Pokémon School, prompting Ash to chase after them. Charizard was later by his Trainer's side when confronted by Team Skull Grunts, who were angry at Kiawe and Charizard for blocking to road. The grunts then challenge them to a Pokémon battle, stating that if they win they get Charizard. Despite the stakes, Kiawe accepts the battle, using his Turtonator to battle. Charizard stays back and watches the battle, eventually taking a nap before the fight is over. In The Guardian's Challenge! Charizard was mentioned to have help Kiawe make a far delivery to Ula'ula Island, which Kiawe states is an easy task for Charizard.
Personality and characteristics
Charizard is a very serious Pokémon, often showing stern and angered expressions. Charizard highly trusts his Trainer, acting very calm when offered as a prize if Kiawe were to lose a battle, even going as far as to take a nap during the fight. Kiawe rides Charizard when traveling and making deliveries for his family's farm.
