Horde Encounter
A Horde Encounter is a type of Pokémon battle introduced in Pokémon X and Y. Horde Encounters consist on the appearance of a group of multiple wild Pokémon. Contrary to Double Battles, this happening tends to join together oppositors from the same species. Such rule has got an exception. In case a species in the horde has only got a possible gender, another one can be part of it, as long as it is similar and has the opposite gender as the only possible one.
