Theresa

Teresa is a red-haired character who first appeared in DP024. She is the granddaughter of Abigail.

Dawn and Ash were having a practice battle when Teresa came along and commented on Pikachu, wanting to borrow it for her grandmother explaining how her Abigail's Pikachu, Sugar, ran away. After a bit of convincing, Ash finally agreed, as it was only for a few days.

When Teresa brought Pikachu to her grandmother, she was overjoyed. When Abigail began having Pikachu lightly fry Aspar berries off trees, both Ash and Teresa started getting worried if it was the right choice. When Abigail challenged Ash to a match Teresa unwillingly refereed.

In the evening, Ash decided to tell Abigail about Pikachu. When that happened, Abigail revealed that she was thinking that it might have been his Pikachu, Teresa also confessed that she knew why Sugar ran away.

When Team Rocket came and tried to kidnap Pikachu, both Teresa and Abigail chased after Team Rocket's mecha. She was just as surprised as anyone when Sugar came back and had evolved into a Raichu.
