HAL Laboratory, Inc. (株式会社ハル研究所,is a video game developer it was founded on February 21, 1980. Its former President was Satoru Iwata CEO and President of Nintendo, the company has been involved in large projects such as; Kirby and the Super Smash Bros. series, it employs around 106 employees and has made games for the NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube and more recently the DS.
