The Spanish candy manufacturer Dunkin bought a License from Nintendo to be able to add Pokémon Cards to their chewing gum packs named Boomer Bubble Gum. They produced these cards in the years of 1999, 2000 and 2001. This happened in the context of the time, where different types of kids food would offer some prizes like these, such as tazoos with crisp packs.

Only difference here was the usage of 'booster boxes' and 'booster packs'. So the boxes and packs were specially made for this product, the cards were not just added to the regular packaging.

The cards added to the Bubblegum packs were 1 to 150 from the generation 1 Pokémon in 1999 and 2000. In 2001 there was a selection made of 25 Generation I Pokémon and 25 Generation II Pokémon . These 50 packs had 2 version of non-holo cards and holo cards. These holo cards can be best compared to sparkle chrome cards that were made by Topps.

Card quality of Dunkin Boomer cards

The Dunkin Boomer cards are notorious for their limited card quality. The Delicate Cardboard Stock used for those sticker make them very fragile and can be easily damaged. Also with the 1999 and 2000 cards having checklist on the backside makes finding cards with pen-marks on them very common.
