Leaf Guard (Ability)
Leaf Guard (Japanese: リーフガード Leaf Guard) is an ability introduced in Generation IV that prevents status problems in sunny weather. This is like Safeguard in that it does not prevent self inflicted statuses, such as from Rest. Six Pokémon have this ability. See also Hydration.
