Synopsis

Template:Incomplete synopsis A new journey begins, Ash and Pikachu arrive in the Isshu region. They are heading to the lab of Professor Araragi, the authority of research of this region's Pokémon. On the way there, lightning is shot from black clouds, and Zekrom's shadow appears over Pikachu, making it unable to use Template:Type2 moves.

Major events

Ash arrives in the Isshu region.
Ash's Pikachu becomes temporarily unable to use Electric-type attacks after being hit by lightning caused by Zekrom.
Ash and company meet Professor Araragi.
Ash meets a photographer and beginning Trainer by the name of Shooti.
Shooti obtains a Tsutarja from Professor Araragi then battles Ash's Pikachu and wins.
