 * Cyndaquil is the third Pokémon species that both Dawn and Ash share. The first two are Aipom and Buizel (this of course was due to the trade that occurred), and the first that isn't the same exact Pokémon.
 * Cyndaquil is the only one of Dawn's Pokémon that hasn't participated in a Pokémon Contest yet, however this may because it just hatched from an egg.
-*Dawn's Cyndaquil could become a parallel to May's Venusaur. Ash has owned a Bulbasaur and a Cyndaquil, and neither have evolved, and Dawn's Cyndaquil will eventually meet Ashs's Cyndaquil at Professor Oak's Lab and get along well with Ash's Cyndaquil, just like May's Bulbasuar did with Ash's, and then Dawn may leave to another region without Ash and eventually reunite with him with Cyndaquil evolved into Typhlosion, just like May has with her Venusaur.
