It's original G/S/C sprites depicted it with a dark brown color, but it's official Sugimori art depicted it as its shiny form (with the exception of the purple elements), with a light brown scheme. In [[Generation III]] this became its actual coloring, with it's shiny form being an even lighter shade of brown with reddish elements. This change carried over to [[Generation IV]], but in {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver}}, as well as it's renewed artwork, it returned to its original dark brown color.
