This implies that the user will restore their HP even though they are already asleep. This was the case in Generation II (and it was annoying, I'll tell you) but in Gen III, using Rest via Sleep Talk failed, although the user would try. The message that would appear on the screen was something along the lines of "(Pokémon name) is already asleep!". The article states that if {{m|Rest}} is called by Sleep Talk, the Rest will fail (in Generations III and IV). What if Sleep Talk calls {{m|Assist}}, which calls Rest?
