Well I'm 90% it's wrong anyway, if it's right it's a MAJOR coincidence and it's makes translating japanese to english very convenient. So, the Japanese call Ash "Satoshi" and Bulbasaur "Fushigidane", I don't have a problem with this in particular. However what I find really weird is articles like [[Ash's Bulbasaur]] claim the Japanese for "Ash's Bulbasaur" is "Satoshi's Fushigidane". When translating things like this you can't take the word for Ash and the word for Bulbasaur and slap a "'s" on to it. I'd be very surprised if the Japanese used the same possessive we do. For example the French for Bulbasaur is "Bulbizarre", but Ash's Bulbasaur in french would not be "Ash's Bulbizarre" it would be "Bulbizarre de Ash". I know the Japanese is romanized, but it would be too much of a coincidence if it was pronounced "Satoshi's Fushigidane". So, coincidence, one of the conventions you follow when romanizing japanese, or am I right and it's incorrect. I hope you understand what I'm getting at here.

:We know that it is not that, but...no one would understand what it said if we put "Satoshi no Fushigidane" so we just put. Satoshi's Fushigidane. It is easier for every to understand, since this is an English, American wiki, we cater to what the English language would have as the possesive. :That's silly, what's the point in having the Japanese there if it's not even correct?
