Should it be that Brock's Steelix is confirmed to be Male universally throughout the anime? Even though the anime has yet to show a female Steelix, I doubt there are any animation discrepancies with gender by showing two fangs on a male Steelix.
Gallade User 15:13, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

:Once again, no, that's not how that works. Just because the default form was the male form, doesn't mean all Steelix that appeared so far are male. Its gender is unknown until the opposite gender form is shown/acknowledged. This goes for all Pokemon with major gender differences.--ForceFire 15:32, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

::If that’s the case, then why, for example, is Shinx, aside from the obvious gender error in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time & Darkness with the younger Shinx sibling being Female with a Male gender difference, allowed to be labeled as Male, especially in the case with Clemont's Luxray as a Shinx, if there are only Male Shinx confirmed in the anime? That should be applied to Brock’s Steelix in the anime universally for the same reason, especially with the gender difference prevalent in Steelix, and you can correct me if I’m wrong too, because I’ve seen every media where Shinx has made an appearance, and every single one of them has the appearance of Male (with the exception of the Mystery Dungeon special, among other differences).
Gallade User 18:38, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
