The first member of the Elite Four is [[Lorelei]], a master {{type|Ice}} Trainer. Three of her five Pokémon are {{2t|Water|Ice}}-types, so be wary of type-matchups.  {{type|Grass}}s may seem like a good idea, but they'll only be useful against her {{p|Slowbro}}.  A better option is using {{type|Electric}} Pokémon, as most of her team share the Water type. As an {{2t|Ice|Psychic}}-type, her {{p|Jynx}} is vulnerable to {{t|Fire}} and {{t|Rock}} attacks. Use heavy hitting moves to take care of its low defense and hp {{p|Zapdos}} and {{p|Moltres}} may seem like great candidates to use against Lorelei, but given that Zapdos is weak to ice and Moltres, paradoxically, is also weak to ice because fire doesn't resist ice in this game, other Pokémon should be used. Since four of her five Pokémon are, after all, water, while Moltres is a bad idea, any electric with Thunderbolt can easily sweep all but Jynx, like Jolteon.
