==Plot==

{{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} are at the Wetlands which is {{AP|Goodra}}'s home. Ash says it was good to battle together. Goodra is sad but Ash says they'll see each other again as {{TP|Clemont|Dedenne}} says its goodbyes. Everyone says their goodbyes before heading back to [[Lumiose City]]. On the way, {{an|Serena}} discovers that the airport is running again as Ash says that when they get back, he'll by flying home as {{an|Clemont}} notes that their journey is nearly over which makes everyone feel sad. As they continue on their way, Ash senses some roots heading their way as {{AP|Greninja}} comes out of its [[Poké Ball]] sensing the roots. Ash wonders what is going on as root come up from out of the ground and Clemont realizes this is the same as what happened in Lumiose City and Ash wonders if [[Team Flare]] is behind this again. Clemont thinks this is the work of a group like Team Flare but {{an|Bonnie}} says [[Squishy]] got rid of them. Ash decides they need to get rid of the roots right away and become Ash-Greninja. They both see the power inside the roots and Ash has Greninja use {{m|Water Shuriken}} which defeats the root as a {{p|Zygarde}} {{DL|List of Pokémon with form differences|Zygarde|Cell}} watches from a tree. It isn't over yet as deep rumbling begins to occur as a large truck nearly runs them over. The Cell watching them is suddenly picked up and dragged towards the truck thanks to [[Xerosic]] and his {{DL|Xerosic|Malamar}} as Clemont informs the others he was Team Flare's Scientist. He isn't happy at being defeated and has come back and planning to create Team Neo Flare. Bonnie tells him to give back Squishy's friend but he says he won't do it as he plans to get Zygarde {{DL|List of Pokémon with form differences|Zygarde|Complete Forme}} and make [[Lysandre]]'s dream come true. Ash has Greninja use Water Shuriken to smash the device but Malamar stops it with {{m|Signal Beam}} before lifting Clemont off his feet. The truck departs with Clemont captive as Greninja goes after it.

On the ground, [[Officer Jenny]] has Xerosic in handcuffs and before being lead away asks Clemont why he has a lot of strength who says it was thanks to spending time with Ash, Bonnie and Serena which surprises Xerosic before being taken away by Officer Jenny. Serena is glad it is over as Bonnie addresses the Cell asking if it knows Squishy just as another root springs up from the ground which is destroyed by Squishy who has just arrived. Bonnie is delighted to see Squishy again and hugs it. After being reunited, Squishy asks Greninja to follow which Greninja does with the others following and come across Z2 who speaks telepathically to Greninja to assist with removing the roots as the trouble is all deep underground. It is hard for them to find the exact locations but Greninja is able to locate them easily. Ash tells Greninja what happened before can never happen again and reminds Greninja about what [[Professor Sycamore]] said about them meeting not being a coincidence and their powering up not being an accident and that this was meant to happen. Ash allows Greninja to leave so that Greninja can track down all the negative energy as they shake hands and hug as the others look on. Greninja goes to leave as Squishy says that Greninja will be under its care and tells Bonnie they may not see each other for a while but will always be with her and Bonnie promises to meet up when she becomes a trainer which Squishy agrees. Everyone says goodbye as they set off on their separate ways.
