:When you evolve these Pokémon, they have to be traded, but the pre-evolution of the Pokémon still needs to be obtained in a game where it can be obtained. No matter how many copies of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire you have, you can't obtain a Haunter (or a Gengar), so it's clearly not obtainable in those games. Similarly, having multiple copies of X or multiple copies of Y allows you to obtain a Haunter and Gengar, so it has to be available in those games. --[[User:Abcboy|Abcboy]] ([[User talk:Abcboy|talk]]) 13:49, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
