The song is about a man says he will go after the person he loves should that person leave him, and they will reminisce over the fond memories that they have shared and get back together.

The song is about a man who used to be in a dark and gloomy relationship, but the person he was with didn't count on him being bulletproof, so to speak. The narrator in the song finds happiness after his bad relationship ends; and James is happy when he's hanging out with Jessie, rather than at home with [[Jessebelle]]. The line James sings says, "Soy insensible a heridas de amor"; or, "I am impervious to the wounds of love." In ''[[AG183|Aipom and Circumstance!]]'', Jessie rejects the gift of bottle caps that James gives her. James shouts, "¡Eres una insensible a las heridas de amor!" In this context, the implication changes. It comes to mean, "You are insensitive to the pain that accompanies romance!" James also sings "Insensible" during the motto in ''[[AG047|I Feel Skitty!]]'' and ''[[DP092|A Lean Mean Team Rocket Machine!]]''.

The song is about a man who is in love with a woman but she has not been responsive, so love is killing him; therefore, he cannot handle what he has with that woman even though no one could ever take her place. The line James sings says, "Cuando recibas esta carta sin razón, Eufemia"; or, "When you receive this letter, Eufemia, you will know without a doubt." The next line of the song is, "Ya sabrás que entre nosotros todo terminó"; or, "You will already know that what is between us has ended." In the context of the episode, James could be implying that he and Jessie recently had a fight, seeing as the motto is at the beginning of the episode and James has a connection of sorts with [[Kate (Chronicles)|Kate]] soon after. In fact, in the Latin American Spanish dub of ''[[DP113|Hold the Phione!]]'', James says, "Fíjate que yo tuve una novia llamada Rose"; or, "Listen, I had a ''novia'' named Rose." "Novia" can mean "girlfriend" or "fiancée." Rose is Kate's name in the Japanese version of ''We're No Angels'', so he is most likely referring to Kate, albeit with a dubbing error.
