This is a '''list of Pokémon according to responses given by Dr. Footstep''', from [[Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions|Diamond, Pearl]] and [[Pokémon Platinum|Plainum]]. [[Dr. Footstep]] is a character living on [[Route 213]] who determines a Pokémon's feelings towards their trainer based upon their [[footprint]]s. The responses given are determined by both the Pokémon's [[happiness]] level, and which "response category" its species belongs to. These categories are broadly analogous to personality types, with "cute" species giving different responses to "scary" species. Eight categories exist, based on appearance and whether or not the species has footprints. Each category has five different responses based on their happiness level, making for a total of forty possible responses. There is also a ninth, "voiceless" category, containing Pokémon that give no meaningful response no matter what their happiness.
