:Sorry for replying to an old discussion but just in case someone decides to take this advice, kudaku is the transitive form which means "break (something)" as opposed to the intransitive kudakeru meaning "become broken". Kudakeru could also be the potential of kudaku but that would translate as "armor which could break (other things)", "breakable" is kudakerareru.
