He also wrote and illustrated the Pokémon Tales book Pikachu's Unparalleled Adventure. Aside from his work with Pokémon, he also illustrated the first two volumes of the Crest of the Stars manga trilogy and is one of the two writers of the Banner of the Stars manga series.
