Frogadier (Pokémon): Difference between revisions

Frogadier is a light-blue, bipedal, {{wp|frog}}-like {{OBP|Pokémon|species}}. A dark blue marking covers its head and forms a three-pointed mark down its upper back. Its eyes have yellow sclerae, black irises, and white pupils. Its eyes protrude slightly from the top of its head and each has a backward-facing spike above it. It has a white bubble scarf, dark blue hands and circular toes, and white circular fingers.

Frogadier evolves from {{p|Froakie}} and evolves into {{p|Greninja}}.

The spiked protrusions above its eyes may have been inspired by horned frogs from the {{wp|Genus|genera}} ''{{wp|Megophrys}}'' and ''{{wp|Ceratophrys}}''. Its bubbling white foam is a reference to frog foam nests, created by some species such as the {{wp|Tungara frog|túngara frog}} and {{wp|grey foam-nest tree frog}} to protect eggs.
