Biology
Physiology
Audino is a bipedal, pink-and-cream Pokémon with oval, blue eyes. The top of its head, its back, and arms are pink, while the lower half of its face, body, ears are cream-colored, as well as its front and fingers. The patterning of pink and cream on its chest resembles a jacket. There are three digits on its hands and two on its feet. It has a puffy, white tuft for a tail. Audino has floppy ears with thin, curled extensions on the underside. It can use these ears as radars, and it has an incredible hearing ability.
Audino is a bipedal, blue-eyed, pink-and-cream-colored Pokémon. The upper section of its face is pink, as are its floppy ears, exempting the tips and curled lower extensions which are cream-colored. The sides of Audino's chest and arms are also pink, somewhat resembling a jacket, although the tips of its forelimbs are cream. Its small tail is lumpy and white, similar to soft serve ice cream.

Gender differences
The feelers on its ears act like stethoscopes in that it can feel the beat of another Pokémon's heart, in order to assess the Pokémon's feelings and overall physical condition. The feelers are also able to determine when an Egg is close to hatching. It has an incredible sense of hearing, where it can even hear a rolling pebble from a mile away. Audino is said to have a kind heart.
None

Special abilities
Audino is the only known Pokémon capable of learning the move Secret Power by leveling up.
Audino have an incredible hearing ability and can use their ears like radars. The feelers on Audino's ears act like stethoscopes in that they can feel the beat of the opponent's heart. By listening to other Pokémon's heartbeats, Audino can assess their feelings and overall physical condition.

Behavior
Forms
Audino are natural doctors and nurses. Just like Chansey, they can nurse injured Pokémon back to health.
Audino can Mega Evolve into Mega Audino.

Habitat
When Audino Mega Evolves into Mega Audino, it becomes both heavier and taller. The patterning on its stomach, now completely cream, is covered by what resembles a flared lab coat. Most of its body becomes white with pink tips in four places, one on each ear and near the edges of its "coat". Its eyes turn pink and its ears stand upright with longer, curlier feelers. Its tail becomes larger and a smaller tuft of fur is centered on its chest. Two additional, curled feelers extend from under this extra tuft of fur. White fur covers its feet with two small tufts on the heels. Mega Audino can release pulses that reduce hostility, and the secondary feelers can put those who come in contact with them into a deep sleep.
Audino are present all over Unova, but are very rare. They will only appear in shaking patches of grass.

This Pokémon has huge ears and large feelers that look like stethoscopes. It's easy to guess what it's best at! It can pick up even the faintest of sounds perfectly with its feelers, including the heartbeats of other creatures. It can even tell how far away eggs are from hatching.

Trivia
Trivia
* It is the only Pokémon available in any patch of grass of a region, similar to how Magikarp is available in any water tile where wild Pokémon can be found.
* Audino is available in all patches of Phenomenon in Black and White.
**Because of this and it's high Exp Yield, specifically seeking these out (by walking outside an area of grass and waiting for one to shake) and defeating them is an excellent way to raise Pokémon quickly.
* Because of its availability and its high Exp. yield, battling wild Audino in Phenomenon is a fast way for Pokémon to gain experience in the Generation V games, as well as Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
* Audino is the only Pokémon able to learn Secret Power by leveling up.
** As all the Trainers that look like a Furisode Girl in the Battle Chateau use only Audino, they can be used to perform this trick with greater effectiveness in X and Y.
** It is also the only Generation V Pokémon capable of learning this move, as it was previously only obtainable via TM43, which no longer contains Secret Power.
Mega Audino and Slowbro revealed
* Audino is the first Pokémon in any region to replace Chansey at the Pokémon Centers.
* Mega Audino was first accidentally revealed on the official Korean Pokémon website on August 12, 2014, two days prior to its official release by Junichi Masuda.
* Audino is the only Pokémon introduced in Generation V that is capable of Mega Evolution.
* Audino is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 445.
** Audino is also the only Pokémon to lose this distinction upon Mega Evolution.
* Mega Audino has the highest base Defense stat of all Normal Pokémon.
* Audino is the only Pokémon with two unique base experience yields.
* Audino was designed by Saya Tsuruta.
* In Pokémon GO, Audino rewards 2,100 Stardust when caught under normal conditions. This is higher than any other Pokémon will give.

Origin
Origin
Audino seems to be based on a combination of a leporid and a nurse or physician, with its ears acting as stethoscopes.
According to Ken Sugimori, Audino was designed with the anime in mind, to replace Nurse Joy's Chansey in the Unova region.

Audino seems to be partially based on rabbits, with features similar to that of a physician or nurse. The stethoscope-like feelers on its ears also bring to mind a cochlea, a part of the inner ear involved in hearing, or a butterfly's antennae, or proboscis. The ears themselves resemble wings, which may reference the caduceus as a symbol of medicine in the United States. The ears also resemble butterfly wings, especially in its Mega Evolved form, which may mean it was based on some depictions of a fairy. Mega Audino could take some influence from angels, as well as doctors. Mega Audino may also have a resemblance to the Lolita fashion fashion style, having a flowing, white-and-pink "coat", "boots", and ears, or perhaps even the Magical Girl subgenre seen in Japanese pop culture.

Name origin
Name origin
Its name seems to be derived from "audio" and the phrase "I dunno". It can also refer to the suffix "ino", which denotes femininity. Tabunne seems to be derived from 多分ね tabun ne, meaning "maybe". Its name is likely derived from 多聞 tabun, "Many are heard". Additionally, it could be taken from 耳たぶ mimitabu, the word for "earlobe."
Audino may be derived from audio and a pun on the phrase "I dunno."

Tabunne may be derived from a pun of 多分ね tabun ne (maybe) or 多聞 tabun (hearing many things). It may also involve 耳朶 mimitabu (earlobe).
