Confusion can be used as the first move of a [[Contest combination|Pokémon Contest combination]], causing {{m|Future Sight}}, {{m|Kinesis}}, {{m|Psychic}}, and {{m|Teleport}} to score double the normal appeal if used in the next turn. It can also be used to finish a combination, with the user gaining 2 bonus appeal points if {{m|Calm Mind}}, {{m|Kinesis}}, or {{m|Psychic}} was used in the previous turn.
