'''Seaside Cave''' (Japanese: '''{{tt|海辺の洞穴|うみべのどうけつ}}''' ''Seaside Cave'') is a cavern located between {{rt|21|Unova}} and [[Undella Bay]]. It is accessible as soon as the player gets to [[Undella Town]]; however, {{tc|Black Belt}} Rocky blocks the player from exploring further until [[Drayden]] has been defeated and the player has ridden [[Team Plasma]] from [[Opelucid City]] after they have frozen it. It is also the first area in the game that an HM is needed to proceed, with {{m|Surf}} being required on Route 21 to reach this area.

The cavern has two floors and three entrances. One is to [[Undella Bay]], another to {{rt|21|Unova}}, and another goes to a separate area of Route 21, where the [[Plasma Frigate]] is found. The {{key|V|Colress MCHN}} can be used to awaken {{p|Crustle}} found here. The bottom floor has a {{m|Strength}} puzzle.
