Is it possible to get a comparison table up to show the differences between the movesets of each Forme?  Something like what's on the Legendary golems and other pages.  Just stick it below the other four moveset tables, permanently hidden so it's out of the way. ~ Serial Colour 20:37, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

This is the first source I've personally seen that claims Deoxys to be either legendary or mythical. If it is the only official source on the matter, then I would recommend changing this article accordingly. However, because there may be another source that contradicts this, I will hold off on the edit. :It is explicitly called Mythical in ORAS. Refer to Talk:Legendary Pokémon#Deoxys (if you wade through to the end). That is interesting, though; it's the first thing to inarguably class Deoxys as Legendary, giving us a bona fide conflict now... ::I'll bring it up on the Legendary Pokémon page. If nothing else, it might deserve to be mentioned as a conflict. <p style="text-shadow: 2px 1px 1px #FFE300">ᗧ•••ᗣ Pacack</p> 01:15, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

Should Deoxys even be called a mythical Pokemon anymore? I mean, we don't need a mystery gift to get. We can get it in the post story of ORAS. Not really mythical anymore Swonic

:Please refer to the discussion on Legendary Pokémon's talk page regarding Deoxys, it was explicitly called a Mythical Pokémon in ORAS.--<span style="color:#F1912B">F</span><span style="color:#F6B775">orce</span><span style="color:#5599CA">F</span><span style="color:#90BDDC">ire</span> 12:43, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

::Not a core game but Deoxys is classified as a Mythical Pokémon in Pokémon GO. It was released as an EX boss as of today and once caught can be found using the "mythical" research keyword. Unlike Mew and Celebi (who are unique so far), you can get multiple ones through EX raids, and it can be transferred to Professor Willow. Like other Mew and Celebi, it cannot be traded with friends. == Trivia Point ==

"Using the first letter from the names of three of Deoxys's Formes, one can spell "DNA" (Defense, Normal, Attack). The letter "s" at the ending of Deoxys's name could stand for Speed." What point is this trying to make? This seems like a kind of silly piece of trivia. I believe it should be removed. --<span style="color:#00A1E9">cela</span><span style="color:#BF004F">donk</span> (talk) 01:23, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
:I think the trivia about DNA is interesting, given that Deoxys is based on DNA. The "s" point I can't make any sense of and think should be removed. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 01:35, 16 February 2020 (UTC)

Deoxys symbol
I would like to add this to the origin section:

The ∴ symbol on Deoxys' back may be a therefore sign, indicating a logical consequence in computing and mathematics. Possibly the symbol suggests a constellation like a similar grouping of asterisks, known in typography as a "group of stars" indicating a break in text. In Tamil language the symbol indicates an aspiration called a Visarga, meaning "sending forth, discharge". Overall the symbol may suggest Deoxys' extraterrestrial origin, its ability to discharge lasers, and its employing computational language. == Speed Form + Zap Cannon in Go? ==

Last night I corrected Defense Form's moves in Go; it had Zap Cannon listed instead of Thunderbolt. I *think* the same error applies to Speed form too, but I can't confirm it because I don't have that form to use an Elite TM on. Does it really have Zap Cannon?
