Wilma's only anime appearance was in ''[[DP156|A Meteoric Rise to Excellence!]]''. {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} met up with her after witnessing her teach an {{p|Altaria}} to use {{m|Draco Meteor}}. She explained that many {{pkmn|Trainer}}s, including Altaria's, leave their Pokémon with her so that she can teach them Draco Meteor.
 
Later, a {{pkmn2|wild}} {{AP|Gible}} that Wilma knew showed up and she explained that it shows up frequently. Ash and his friends helped her rescue Altaria from {{TRT}} and she later showed them the way to [[Daybreak Town]].
