Manufacturing errors are simply the cards getting messed up in the printing presses somehow. In general, these types of errors happen constantly, but the different possibilities are pretty interesting. An overlay like the one I think you have is more uncommon and interesting, but not entirely an error that is replicated on a vast number of cards. In my opinion, the way the Original Series error cards are described makes this article feel less encyclopedic and more like a record for collectors with a particular interest in collecting these cards. I've also noticed that the other sections of the article, especially the ones for newer expansions, aren't written in the same way. I'm not very knowledgeable on the original TCG series, so I'd rather get a second opinion before going and removing/rewriting them myself.
