Where does it say that's a requirement for the rest of the Projects, and it's not just a format choice mandated for that Project's welfare? If gifs were disallowed, he would totally disallow uploading them but he did not. :Look the infobox template is so large that if the images are arranged at more than two images per row, then they don't display at the start of the "In the anime" section. They are only displayed after the infobox ends which in some cases is a lot after the start of the anime section. As a result, a lot of space is left empty at the top which does not look nice.
