Isn't SmashWiki now part of NIWA? SeanWheeler 00:47, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
:It is indeed. Or to be more specific, the SmashWiki that left Wikia is a member. What is left on Wikia now effectively a dried husk. Archaic 01:49, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
Wait a minute...
Hey, i noticed that most NIWA members put the NIWA site in their affiliates section, right? Well, guess what, Sonic Wiki put the NIWA in it's affiliates! Is it going to join? I doubt it, but u never know. Maybe it is the member that is coming out on Nov 30th? ----<span style="color:blue">Desukaan563's userpage has a Value Formula to measure Pokémon worth</span> <small>(<span style="color:yellow">talk</span>)</small> 03:44, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

F-Zero Wiki
There really needs to be a non-Wikia F-Zero Wiki... --Wildgoosespeeder 01:46, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Seriously
We don't need to have a bulbapedia page for each NIWA wiki. It only creates incomplete articles due to the fact thatthere isn't much about Pokémon that is related to any of the NIWA wikis. :Due to the nature and namesake of the articles they wouldn't be about Pokémon, they would be about the wiki that the article represents. --Spriteit 01:01, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
Kingdom Hearts Wiki?
Just curious, does anyone know why the Kingdom Hearts Wiki (khwiki.net) is not listed as a member of NIWA?
Their main page states that they have recently joined... Am I not aware of something?
Pkmn Trainer Red 01:40, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
:Kingdom Hearts Wiki are members of SEIWA, which is an alliance of independent Wikis focusing on series related to Square Enix. They are affiliated with NIWA, but are not considered "full members". --Chickasaurus 01:45, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
::I'm pretty sure they are just affiliated with NIWA, not a true member. Members are Nintendo produced wikis. <span style="color:Blue;">--Pokemaster</span><span style="color:Blue;">97</span> 01:47, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
:::Yep, as Chickasaurus explained, they are a member of SEIWA and an affiliate of NIWA, but not a member as only Nintendo-related wikis can be part of NIWA. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 06:22, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
Counting
Unless I have recently lost my ability to count, I count only 21 wikis in the lists, despite everyone saying there are 22 wikis in NIWA. Is there a reason 1 is missing or is it that everyone who says 22 is wrong? - Groudon 60 (talk) 16:30, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
:Probably counts Pikmin Fanon. Eridanus (talk) 17:28, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
::Hard Drop Tetris Wiki recently joined, and the admins didn't have time to implement it on the main page. SeanWheeler (talk) 15:29, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
Hard Drop Tetris Wiki
Since it doesn't have a page, could someone add the page about Hard Drop Tetris Wiki? --<span style="color:pink">Cinday123</span> <small>(<span style="color:lightblue">Talk</span>)</small> 10:16, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
Actually I'm not sure we should have all these individual articles on our affiliates. They have nothing to do with Pokémon. Should we keep those NIWA articles and create a Hard Drop article? Or delete them all? We already have a wiki that has pages of each wiki because that is the wiki for Nintendo in general. But as we are the Pokémon Wiki and these articles have literally nothing to do with Pokémon, they shouldn't be here. The Mario Wiki article doesn't mention its' Smash Bros. content and Smash Wiki doesn't mention the Pokémon pages. And even when we add that information, that won't be enough. I can write an article about Pikachu appearing with Sonic (despite only appearing in two Smash Bros. games, one of which isn't released yet) better than connecting the F-Zero Wiki to Pokémon. I've even asked the guys at Smash Wiki if they can have articles of the NIWA wikis describing their Smash coverage, but Toomai rejected the idea, and the Super Mario Wiki article I created before the response wasn't very good. And the affiliates has more Smash Bros. than Pokémon. I asked about why we have this articles on our Mario Wiki talk page and Chickasaurus agreed that these articles are irrelevant and should just redirect to Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance. Judging by the fact we don't have Hard Drop in the mainspace, either the admins are still trying to decide on the NIWA articles or are working on Hard Drop in the userspace. But after a search, it seems Hard Drop isn't even in the userspace, so looks no one is even working on it. Well, better to wait to decide how we handle these affiliate articles. I mean, just because they are partners with Bulbapedia, grants them an article despite having little to no Pokémon content? SeanWheeler (talk) 02:00, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
:I agree. They're poorly written and off-topic. Mountain Drew (talk) 21:18, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
::This late in the game, all of our affiliates will retain their articles, and any new affiliates will still have articles created about them. == Inkipedia ==
It appears NIWA now has a new member: Inkipedia, a wiki for Splatoon. We'll need to update this and everything related to NIWA accordingly. Also, how are we doing a link template for this one? Berrenta (talk) 16:38, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
:A interwiki prefix needs to be added to the interwiki prefix table before a link template can be created. --Abcboy (talk) 17:31, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
::Not sure what we'll be using as an interwiki prefix, to be honest, as ip is already taken by Icaruspedia... Berrenta (talk) 17:38, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
:::I would recommend <code>ik</code> or <code>in</code> as those don't appear to be language codes or taken by other affiliates. --Abcboy (talk) 17:48, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
::::Both sound good as candidates. I wonder what the others think. Berrenta (talk) 17:55, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
:::::ink is straight-forward and really has no chance of being used for anything else. Something might come up that in would be good for. <small>glik</small>glak 18:03, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
Fire Emblem Wiki
Looks like FEW changed their main page URL from to . The old URL 404s. I think this need to be changed on the NIWA template, and the page for FEW, unsure where else. RotaRaichu (talk) 09:07, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
