:Sam's true identity is a legitimate spoiler because it's only revealed at the end of the movie, and only in the dub since the original version only vaguely teases it. The Masked Royal's identity is never treated as anything more than a joke. One of the first things you can say to the Royal when you meet him is, "Professor?"
