::::Is there ever a point in the rest of the game that shows the Old Man from Kanto's Weedle again? Or Calem/Serena's Bunnelby that they catch in the tutorial? But those are listed.

::::Even if we make a unique section for "in opening" like how Calem/Serena have "Caught in tutorial", it should be mentioned somewhere. Nutter Butter (talk) 18:39, 3 July 2016 (UTC)

:::::I'm really not sure about that... Go back and watch Sycamore's intro. Are you gonna tell me that's part of the "real (Pokemon) world"? At the end, you go through a door of light in the middle of the room. It's just an abstract thing. I don't think hardly any of the intros make strict sense (especially the professors' dialogue) if you try to imagine it as actually happening "for real". Maybe ORAS, but it's still presented in a relatively unique circumstance.
:::::The catching tutorials are not even remotely the same thing. Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:01, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
::::::Alright, but why is there something wrong with keeping it in a separate section like "Shown in opening" or something? That makes it clear that it isn't in the rest of the game, and if readers want to believe that those scenes are canon and the professors own that Pokemon, then they can. If they want to believe they don't really own that Pokemon, they can do that too.
::::::It's also worth noting that Juniper's Minccino does appear outside of the opening, but I'm pretty sure she's the only one, so it probably isn't enough to say that every professor is the same. Nutter Butter (talk) 03:13, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
:::::::Personally, I just don't think anything like that is necessary. (For mostly the reasons I expressed above.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:12, 7 July 2016 (UTC)

Kukui's Demo Version Dialogues
So out of boredom, I decided to collect all of Kukui's dialogue in the game before realizing that I don't have the authority to edit this page yet. I gathered them all in the pastebin here, and coded them already to the usual character dialogue style. I hope anyone finds this useful. --Aozora210 (talk) 21:12, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
:It's very useful and it has been added to the page. Thank you! --<span style="color:#2b915e;">Mi</span><span style="color:#52cc91;">ku</span><span style="color:#8debbc;">ri</span> 21:43, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
Name version and starter pokemon
Professor Kukui is the first and only professor to not change the name from japanese version to the US version, also he is the first professor to not give the player his/her starter pokémon or having someone related to him(like an assistant) do it.Robin Maximo (talk) 10:15, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
Primarina's gender
Right now, Kukui's Primarina's gender is shown as male. But I'm defending my title against Kukui right now and his Primarina is female. Is there a possibility, that his Pokémon can be of either gender (retaining their gender on subsequent battles, of course)? ==Spoilers?==
Is it worth putting a spoiler tag on the story part of the article? Personally I found it more exciting when I didn't know who I was going to face in the final battle. BobBot321 (talk) 20:39, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
Gen 1 Reference
Is the fact you have to challenge him as the final boss of the game being very similar to the glitch Oak battle in gen 1 worth trivia? Or since it is only speculation Oak was going to be the final boss (considering his team changed based off of your starter and had levels higher than Blue) make that suspect? ==Masked Royal==
Like with Sam, why don't we have a page for the MR? the Sam page exists so there's no "spoilers", even though it tells you they're the same like with Sam. Surely this should be the same for the Masked Royal? (and it technically doesn't even tell you they're the same person) https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Talk:Sam Muur1234 (talk) 01:03, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
:Sam's true identity is a legitimate spoiler because it's only revealed at the end of the movie, and only in the dub since the original version only vaguely teases it. The Masked Royal's identity is never treated as anything more than a joke. One of the first things you can say to the Royal when you meet him is, "Professor?" There's no real point in making a spoiler page if the game itself doesn't treat it like a spoiler. Ataro (talk) 01:30, 31 July 2018 (UTC)
The claim that he was defeated by Lance
Where does this claim come from? I haven't been able to find a line of dialogue in the games that support it. It's only implied he fought Lance after the Kanto gym leaders. SlothFacts (talk) 02:54, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
Fighting him at the Battle Royal
Is fighting him at the Battle Royal simply an extremely rare occurrence or is it a "random" event that can be triggered by certain criteria, like Faba/Lusamine in the Title Defense? --The Great Butler (talk) 20:11, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
To link or not to link
I don't know whether to add a link to the Pokémon World page where it says world in the first section. PLMMJ (talk) 03:35, 30 August 2020 (UTC)
