Emerald (Adventures): Difference between revisions

The constant moving from family member to family member led to Emerald developing the ability to determine a Pokémon's birthplace. If a Pokémon goes on a rampage, Emerald can calm it by surrounding the Pokémon with a "seal" of soil from its birthplace. The Pokémon is then calmed by a sense of nostalgia. For his skills, he is given the title of '''"Calmer"''' (鎮める者 ''Calmer'').

|desc={{p|Sceptile}}, as a {{p|Treecko}}, was supposed to be Emerald's starter; however, the day he was going to receive him was during the {{p|Groudon}} and {{p|Kyogre}} catastrophe. Emerald arrived just seconds after [[Professor Birch]] lost Treecko's Poké Ball in the waves. {{adv|Wally}} eventually found Treecko, and helped him to climb the [[Sky Pillar]] to awaken {{p|Rayquaza}}. In ''[[PS241|Dreadful Dealing with Dusclops]]'', while climbing, he evolved into {{p|Grovyle}}. When they reached the top, Rayquaza's power sent Grovyle flying out of the pillar, and he was lost again. Sometime prior to ''[[PS305|Interesting Interactions Involving Illumise]]'' Grovyle evolved into a Sceptile, upon finally drifting ashore. After that, he became a rental Pokémon in the {{ho|Battle Factory}} (later revealed to have been smuggled there by [[Guile Hideout]] to drive the nosy reporters out). He went berserk after being stung by a {{m|Poison Sting}} and Emerald calmed him down, then using him in the battle against {{FB|Factory Head|Noland}}. After defeating Noland, Emerald took him upon realizing that he was no rental Pokémon (all Pokémon in the 50 course were of level 50 only, and Sceptile was 51). It was later proven that this Sceptile was the same lost Treecko when {{adv|Ruby}} and {{adv|Sapphire}} went to the Battle Frontier and their respective starters, [[Mumu]] and [[Chic]], recognized Sceptile. With Emerald's Mega Bracelet, he can Mega Evolve into Mega Sceptile. He is level 69 and has a Hasty [[nature]].}}

|desc={{p|Sudowoodo}} went crazy due to being watered by a reporter while disguised as a tree and attacked but was calmed by Emerald. After this incident, Sudowoodo followed Emerald and joined Emerald's team at [[Artisan Cave]] in ''[[PS317|Sneaky Like Shedinja]]'' after shielding him along with Dusclops and Sceptile. She cares deeply for Emerald and once got into a Berry cooking competition to prove it. She was seen battling in the Battle Dome against a {{tc|Pokémon Ranger}}, defeating his {{p|Ursaring}}. She was then seen battling at the Battle Palace against {{FB|Palace Maven|Spenser}}'s Pokémon. After the final battle with [[Guile Hideout]], she became acquainted with {{adv|Gold}}'s Sudobo. She is level 62 and has a Quirky nature.}}

He was seen battling at the Battle Dome, battling a {{tc|Pokémon Ranger}} early on, and tying with Ruby's Rara.
