Shuffle Pokédex
Getting a little exasperated here because I'm not hearing back from anybody.  I've had this ready to go for a few days now, asked SnorlaxMonster and another admin. if there's anything that should be done before moving them out...and haven't heard back from either.  Can I go ahead and move this to the mainspace after retitling my Dex template to something like "ShDex" (instead of Sdex which is meant to reference Sinnoh)?  We do need the image icons for the template at some point, and the template can be edited for that in the future, but it's good for now.  CycloneGU (talk) 06:41, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
:I think that looks fine. The opening paragraph could have more details, but since I have no clue on Shuffle, I can't really say what to add. But overall, I think it's good to go.--<span style="color:#AB2813">F</span><span style="color:#C87365">orce</span><span style="color:#26649C">F</span><span style="color:#729ABF">ire</span> 07:15, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
::Yeah, I'm not sure what else to add to the opening myself.  I mean, List of Pokémon by PokéPark Pad number is just as simple, but I could use the example of List of Pokémon by Ransei Gallery order and manufacture some things for the opening like that one; in this case, noting that the National Dex is not present in the game and is only provided for reference purposes in the table is a good starting point.  We could also notate that the images are not the ones that appear in-game, but we really should get those added to Commons so we can later modify the template to use them.  Other sites already have them, too, but obviously we have our own quality requirements and theirs may not match ours.
::In any case, once I'm done fixing the page for the new template location, I'll move it and then will be seeking to have the page added next to the Ransei entry in this template, which I cannot edit.  I can edit List of Pokémon myself (the template BTW shows Lists instead of List, I presume the page title should say Lists).  Can you keep an eye out for the moves (there will be two) and edit the Pokelist template with the new Dex entry once the page is in place?  CycloneGU (talk) 18:28, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
:::It's all moved.  Edited the link above and also the newly created redirects (from my userspace) to note that they can be deleted.  I should get back to my rematch data project.  CycloneGU (talk) 19:19, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
::::Done and done. I noticed the move template on the page, so I will edit the template again once a decision has been made (and yes, I agree with the move). THe opening paragraphs are good.--<span style="color:#AB2813">F</span><span style="color:#C87365">orce</span><span style="color:#26649C">F</span><span style="color:#729ABF">ire</span> 03:49, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
:::::I think we can go ahead and move it.  The only reason I haven't is because I would leave another redirect that would need to be deleted, whereas you can move them without redirects, so I'll let you handle that.  If you wish to wait to see if anyone else offers an opinion, go ahead, but otherwise I'd say no need to keep that one open for too long.  CycloneGU (talk) 04:33, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
::::::Hmm, does the game have an actual Pokédex like device? or is it just a list or gallery or what not? I think it'd be weird to call it by Dex number if the game doesn't actually have a Pokédex. Though I'm fine with just "by Shuffle number" or something similar.--<span style="color:#AB2813">F</span><span style="color:#C87365">orce</span><span style="color:#26649C">F</span><span style="color:#729ABF">ire</span> 04:54, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
:::::::I don't believe the game refers to it as a Pokédex.  They are numbered like it, however.  The fact that they don't have National Dex data might void the Pokédex term, plus the fact that the option to bring up the Pokémon list reads - well, Pokémon List.  I'm not sure the policy for the miscellaneous games as I haven't played the others in the category, but Pokédex isn't mentioned.  CycloneGU (talk) 05:58, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
::::::::: I see. I think "by Shuffle list number" would be a better term for it.--<span style="color:#AB2813">F</span><span style="color:#C87365">orce</span><span style="color:#26649C">F</span><span style="color:#729ABF">ire</span> 06:25, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
::::::::::I'm OK with just "Pokémon Shuffle number" without adding "list" to it.  I shouldn't have added "Browser", technically, for the same reason; it unnecessarily lengthens the title and, in Browser's case, it isn't entirely accurate.  Page titles should be kept simpler, and the "list" reference can be kept to the prose.  Up to you however. =)  CycloneGU (talk) 06:30, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
:::::::::::On second thought...yeah, list number might be better.  And I see it's already moved, so I'll remove the tag.  CycloneGU (talk) 06:32, 10 March 2015 (UTC)

DreamDream not updated with Serena's Braixen
When Serena cut her hair in XY060, DreamDream was updated with her new haircut. In the next episode, Mad-Paced Getter was updated to have Serena's new look and it also featured her Fennekin as a Serena. Since then, DreamDream hasn't been updated to show Fennekin in her evolved form. Plus, when I asked earlier if it was trivia worthy that when Mad-Paced Getter was updated with Braixen, DreamDream wasn't, I was informed that I should wait until XY064 airs and to not rush. The episode aired, and Fennekin was still not updated in the ending as Braixen. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 03:52, 13 March 2015 (UTC)

Hey FF.
I was looking through the MoS and when I got here, I noticed what I think is a typo "Note, however, that there is <u>no</u> one common trend for spelling of words".<span style="color:Blue;">--DJ</span><span style="color:Blue;">Wolfy--</span> 20:59, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

XY067 Trivia and Mistakes
In previous episodes when a Pokémon uses Dragon Tail and the target wasn't their opponent's only Pokémon left, the opponent would always faint upon impact before Dragon Tail's effect of forcing the target to switch kicked in. Ash's Goodra was the first Pokémon to survive the attack and wasn't the only one left in his trainer's roster when the move was used.
Clemont using Clemont in Ash's Gym Battle against him when the Digging Pokémon isn't even an Electric is indeed a mistake. Clemont specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. Bunnelby is a Normal. Gym Leaders can only use Pokémon of the type they specialize in. Just because Bunnelby learned Wild Charge doesn't make him an Electric-type Pokémon.
Just because it's the anime doesn't excuse it from when a move is portrayed without its effect or with a different effect than what it's supposed to have. The anime has portrayed Pokémon using moves that they can't learn and attacks working on Pokémon that are immune to said attacks (the biggest example of the latter being Pikachu's Thunderbolt working on Grounds) and they have all been written down in their respective episode pages as mistakes. Since this is the first time that a Pokémon that wasn't the only one left in their trainer's party survived a Dragon Tail, that meant there's nothing to prevent the attack's effect of forcing the target to switch from activating. Despite this, they didn't include Dragon Tail's effect, so that was an error. As for Rain Dance canceling out Electric Terrain, that was also an error. All Rain Dance does is causes rain which can only override other weather conditions, excluding those caused by Desolate Land, Primordial Sea and Delta Stream. The only ways to remove the effects of Electric Terrain is to either let it wear off on its own or use another terrain altering move to replace it.
Past examples of moves having the wrong effects include Bonnie's Dedenne's Nuzzle and Skyla's Swanna's Aqua Ring. Nuzzle always paralyses the target upon impact, but in One for the Goomy!, it cured Serena's confusion from James's Psybeam instead of paralyzing him, and in An Oasis of Hope!, it didn't paralyse Grumpig. Aqua Ring only slightly restores the user's health each turn, but in Cilan Takes Flight!, it cured Swanna's burn from Cilan's Scald, and in An Amazing Aerial Battle! it made Swanna immune to Pikachu's Thunderbolt.
That is why I believe these trivia points are needed in XY067. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 17:23, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
: I disagree with the second one, as Gym Leaders aren't necessarily required to use only Pokémon of the type they use. Candice used a Medicham in her Gym battle with Ash. MetalMetroid997 (talk) 18:22, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
::That's because Candice was using her Diamond & Pearl party which also had a Medicham. That's the only loophole of when Gym Leaders are allowed to use a Pokémon not of their specialty-type, when they used that same Pokémon in the games. The anime, for the most part, has the Gym Leaders use the parties that they used in the games. Every once in a while, they might change a Pokémon with another of their type, like Grant's Amaura being replaced with an Onix, Korrina's Hawlucha being replaced with her Mega Korrina, and for future occasions, Valerie's Sylveon will be replaced with a Spritzee and Olympia will replace either her Sigilyph or Slowking for a male Meowstic. For Clemont's case, he has an Emolga, Magneton, and Heliolisk in his party. He already has a Clemont and a Clemont, so they decided to replace Emolga with Clemont since Clemont was never seen owning an Emolga at one point in the anime, but for reasons unknown, Bunnelby was used instead of Magneton. Why replace a Pokémon that he has in his party with one that's not even the right type? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 22:06, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
:::Just because Dragon Tail causes a switch in the games does not mean it causes a switch in the anime. Same with Rain Dance. Sometimes things work differently in the anime because convenience. And Gym Leaders can not use a Pokemon of their type. Whitney used a Nidorina. --<span style="color:#AB2813">F</span><span style="color:#C87365">orce</span><span style="color:#26649C">F</span><span style="color:#729ABF">ire</span> 04:16, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
In response to the VA policy
OK. That's kind of inconvenient, since the VAs on social media don't seem to be as as active as they used to. On a related note, if going by ear is not a reliable source, then I wonder how we know that Professor Oak is still Carter Cathcart and not Stan Hart from BW109 on, since he has returned to the anime by this point, similar to how Ted Lewis took over as Giovanni when he returned. When someone tried to put that Stan Hart returned to the role, another user undoed his edit, because they went by their ear and determined it was still Cathcart. If you can't go by ear, then they must be both wrong, and Professor Oak's current voice actor is unknown at this point. Technickal (talk) 14:52, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
:Unless someone can get some source of source that Stan Hart voiced Oak, it stays at Cathcart. As for Cathcart, I have no idea. I know that Gulpin can't learn Water Gun, but is it really worth listing the fact that a Pokemon using a move it can use in the game as an error, it just doesn't seem right to me because its not really a notable error over something such as a dubbing mistake or a drawing error, and is more trivial than anything

Voice actor help
I think I found the voice actress for Nini. I looked at the credits for Pathways To Performance Partnering! and found someone named Jenny Emm under "Additional Voices". She appears in the credits of that episode and that episode only. I can narrow down the VAs and find she's the only one left. This is the exact way I was able to find that Steven Stone's TPCi anime voice actor was still Andrew Paull, and no one protested. Should I go ahead and add it?
EDIT: The same thing also happened with Palermo. I narrowed her VA down to Gilles Motais.
Second, I'm still stumped about the voice of Clemont's Luxio. Tom Wayland, our go-to source, has been inactive on Twitter since February. Billy Bob Thompson, who confirmed he was going to be Clemont's Luxray in a Twitter and Instagram post, can't remember if he did Luxio or not. Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld and Sarah Natochenny (Natochenny being our prime suspect because she's voiced all other Luxio in the anime) haven't responded when I reached out to them. And Erica Schroeder doesn't have a clue who it could be.
Could it be possible they kept the Japanese voice for Luxio, Yuka Terasaki, since the name of Luxio is unchanged from Japanese? I don't think so because someone probably would've added it by now and Luxio's voice in the anime has still been dubbed before even though the name is the same. Or is it that we're not allowed to determine if the Japanese voice was kept by ear either?
Anyway, I hope you can get back to me on these things, and thanks in advance if you can. I do have one request, though. Can you post the responses on my talk page so I get a notification instead of your talk page? Thanks. Technickal (talk) 20:37, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

Comprised of
You recently reverted two edits where I changed the term "comprised of" to an alternative. You stated in the Veilstone City article that "comprised of" sounds better. How does it? Do you have a particular fondness for the term? I changed it because I believe the changes I made are better than what was already there. For example "Veilstone Gym is a dojo comprised of several smaller rooms" is like saying "The gym is contained of several smaller rooms" where as using the word comprises would mean that the gym consists of several smaller rooms. I still believe that the term should be replaced.Ratchet and Clank 1995 (talk) 11:34, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
:"comprised of several smaller rooms" flows better when read. The sentence isn't incorrect, it is comprised/consists/includes/contains smaller rooms, the word is interchangeable. "comprised of" just happens to be the one that flows better. Also your reason implies that the gym does not contain of smaller rooms.--<span style="color:#AB2813">F</span><span style="color:#C87365">orce</span><span style="color:#26649C">F</span><span style="color:#729ABF">ire</span> 11:56, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

::::But again "comprised of" is a passive form of the verb which reverses the role of subject and the object. So it is grammatically incorrect. I really don't get why you want to protect "comprised of"Ratchet and Clank 1995
:::::It's not about protecting a term or a pair of words.  It's about the fact that the words flow better than your alternative, and that there is nothing wroug with them.  In fact, seeing this, I will be using the words more frequently now to prove the point.
:::::It also seems that you are apparently at war with the words, so the issue is also not with us; it's your disdain for the term and your analysis of the English language.  I do not know if you are in fact Bryan Henderson, a.k.a. Giraffedata, but if you are, be aware that this is not Wikipedia and that Bulbapedia has a stronger management hierarchy than Wikipedia itself does, making it harder for such behaviours to take roots here.  Therefore, I advise to drop this war with "comprised of" before it gets you into trouble.  CycloneGU (talk) 17:42, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

:The whole sentence that YashSen posted has no source. It is also incorrect. Because there is no such computer system that prevents skipping a part of episode shorter than 30 seconds. In earlier episodes, Hungama edited some violence shots like the moves DoubleSlap, Tackle, etc. They even used to skip Misty pulling Brock's ear. These parts were of 1 and 2 seconds. Hence, the whole sentence above is incorrect. Hence, the sentence that exists already is correct. I think that including or not including For unknown reasons wont make any difference, but as some other points too include this (like For unknown reasons, the title card is lacking the characters' shadows and the To Be Continued text does not appear in the end of the episode in the American version.) :::@PikaTepig, for there system, there is a difference between cutting and skipping. As Pokemon episodes are too long for there system. == Pokémon of the Day ==
Sorry for using your Pokémon of the Day Page in my userpage without asking you. It's just that I don't want to waste extra space in copying that wikicode and create a new userpage as I really like your concept of Pokémon of the Day but if you want I can delete that link. --Sligoodra (talk) 13:35, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
:I don't mind. If you wanted to use it, go ahead.--<span style="color:#AB2813">F</span><span style="color:#C87365">orce</span><span style="color:#26649C">F</span><span style="color:#729ABF">ire</span> 13:55, 28 July 2015 (UTC)

Re: Talk Page Discussions
The conversation I was editing is still relevant and has not been properly resolved. The last comment before stated (and I quote) Unless the word has something to do with photographers, then you're looking too deeply into it, which indicated that unless someone comes up with new evidence linking photographers with the phrase "voila", then the discussion is finished. I proposed something that did indeed link the two, thereby reopenning the discussion.--MarkQuest (talk) 04:49, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
:That was the answer/resolution. Yes, it indicated that conversation was still open, but it was still answered nonetheless. If you wanted to revive it, you could've just made a new section rather that replying to the section.--<span style="color:#AB2813">F</span><span style="color:#C87365">orce</span><span style="color:#26649C">F</span><span style="color:#729ABF">ire</span> 05:39, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
Considering the source reliable!
Can you please see this discussion and consider the source reliable? Yash Sen 14:06, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
:Also it would be better if you reply there only. Yash Sen 14:08, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

Been a long time since I was on here helping edit. :P Anyways, will note to not just auto-do that in the future. Nice to be back on here now. == Believe in Me ==
Should the extended version still be included on the page? It looks to be pretty much the same with just some stanzas shuffled around. --Abcboy (talk) 11:57, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
:If it were me, then yes. The same song over and over isn't really an extension, just time padding. I'll give We Will Carry On so leeway since it only repeats the chorus after the guitar solo.--<span style="color:#AB2813">F</span><span style="color:#C87365">orce</span><span style="color:#26649C">F</span><span style="color:#729ABF">ire</span> 12:11, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
Edit request for South Asia page
Hey, could you edit the Pokemon in South Asia page and add the following info:
* In the trivia section, change <code>Hungama TV made a PokéRap as an ending theme for their Indigo League airings and movies.</code> to <code>Hungama TV made an Pokerap as an ending theme for the anime. It was also used for movies.</code>.
* In Pokemon movies section of Cartoon Network, change <code>Cartoon Network began airing the episodes of Pokémon Chronicles on June 11, 2009.</code> to <code>Cartoon Network began airing Pokémon Chronicles from June 11, 2009.</code>.
* Move <code>The manga is available through online stores such as Amazon.</code> from the merchandise section to the manga section.
That's all for now, but more info will have to be added next saturday when M02 airs. → <span style="color:#000;">PikaTepig999</span> 12:03, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
