::Here's an image of casting over a rock, and another place where I don't cast over a rock (this is what I was talking about with a one-tile forward cast.) These rocks are found on Route 15 in Kalos.

::I run into the "Not even a nibble..." message on average around a dozen consecutive casts in these spots. Is there anything I'm doing wrong by removing items from my Pickup and Thief Pokemon between battles? Anything wrong with using O-powers (PP restoration for Thief)? Or must you have a Suction Cups/Sticky Hold ''and'' have three obstacles for the bite to be guaranteed? If it's the latter, the article does not make that clear at all.
