Any Pokémon

This template seems to need to be able to say something can be traded for "Any Pokémon," as this is needed for the post-Hall of Fame starter trade in Vaniville Town (and possibly other trades; I don't know about any more, though) and it currently says the starters are tradeable for Missingno., I presume because of a missing or altered field in this template. Tall grass

That actually would be the regular Grass sprite. Tall Grass is much taller in-game. Lady Ariel 21:36, 29 October 2013 (UTC)

Flabebe form links

Flabebe (and its evolutions) now have distinct menu sprites for their forms, which means the links for their forms can be automated in the template so that they link to the correct section like other forms do, rather than requiring the use of the form parameter and needing an anchor for "Flabébé"/"Floette"/"Florges" on Form differences. This should be doable by replacing...

If someone makes this change (and then removes the "form" parameters from Kalos Route 4#Pokémon, Kalos Route 7#Pokémon, and Friend Safari#Fairy-type Safari), they can also remove the anchors from the Form differences#Flabébé, Floette, and Florges section. Removing "all" parameter...

Might a staff member like to remove the "all" parameter from this template? (Or let us start moving in that direction...) It was used for seasons in Gen V, but X/Y don't have seasons and I doubt a hypothetical Z would either.

"all" can't actually be removed completely right away, so this would actually involve a couple of steps. First, this code...

Oh, and while we're mucking about with the source, perhaps we could change...

...to...

Tall grass=[[Tall grass#Long grass|<span style="color:#000;">Long grass</span>]]

so it's actually using the correct term.

If we also wanted to (potentially) change "Tall grass=" to "Long grass=", we'd first need to replace all |Tall grass= ...with... |Long grass|Tall grass=. We could optionally just stop there and have two ways for people to write the parameter, but if "Tall grass" was ever changed to "Long grass" in all usage of the template, the previous code could then be replaced with just |Long grass=. Icons

Now that we finally have the PSS icons, we can add XY Tierno Icon.png to the Starter Pokémon parameter. The sprites for the Jaw and Sail Fossils should be added too. - Chosen of Mana 15:55, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
