::Update2: Ok it stopped at 12 Pomegs again. I'm giving up and going with the Macho Brace. I have no idea what's going on anymore. Someone else can test it. Dragoness 19:53, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

This is not as you think.
The Effort Ribbon is rewarded for maxing ALL your EVs, meaning you have to get all 510 EVs to get the Effort Ribbon. It is not awarded for getting 255 for one stat.
The berries removes 10 each, That is true. Although it removes 10 each, eating one berry when you are over 100 will always reduce the stat to 100 even though you are at 255 or 105, that berry will reduce your stat to 100. This is why you only ate 12 berries multiple times.

:::Mild nature. I think her characteristic is "michievous." So, what I'm doing is wrong? Then how do I maximize two stats at once? By they way, she is a level 20 Simipour now. RedYoshi 20:35, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

Clarification
Just to clarify... do the power items give the bonus after every battle, or every pokemon defeated?
:I have tested this, and it appears to be after a Pokémon gets defeated.  I'm changing this page. Tk3141 17:16, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
EV-enhancing item vs. Power Item
This isn't a rename request (at this time), but I do notice that with the exception of the Macho Brace, all of these items are called "Power ______".  I know I've personally referred to them as "Power items", but do we have any data for alternate or official names these items are known by?  --Stratelier 19:58, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
Macho Brace Vs Power Items + Pokérus
Which is better when stacked with Pokérus, the article doesn't make it clear. I know the Macho Brace doubles all EVs and stacks with Pokérus, and the power items focuses on one EV and gives that 4.
You see I'm horde Speed EV training a Timid 5IV (HP, Def, SpA, SpD, Spd) Charmander I just breed and I am confused on which of the following happens.
a horde of Wingull gives 5Spd evs., The Macho brace doubles it to 10 and then Pokérus doubles it to 20.
or
a horde of Wingull gives 5Spd evs., The Power Anklet adds 4 more Spd Evs to it, and then Pokérus doubles it to 18.
or
a horde of Wingull gives 5Spd Evs. The Power Anklet adds (4x5) 20 more Spd Evs to it, and then Pokérus doubles it to 50.
Or does it go some other way, 10:49 Am without my coffee yet is making it impossible for me to comprehend until I get my caffeine levels to critical mass? Yamitora1 (talk) 15:50, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
:Power items add 4 EVs per Pokémon defeated.  --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 15:59, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Does the Power Items Stakc with themselves and each other?
So I know the items stack with Pokérus, and when done with a Horde Battle, EV trainer can be sped up 5-folds or more...anyways what I don't know is this... do the items stack with themselves and each other as well? Like, if I sent my lead Pokémon into battle with a Power Bracer against a horde of Weepingbel, and then switched it out with a Charizard with another Power Bracer and KO all the Weepingbel with earthquake...would only 1 Power Bracer go into effect, or would both? What if one had a Power Bracer and the other a Power Anklet? And Appologies in advance if I didn't ask my question clear enough...I am sick as a rained out Houndoom and my chest feels like its filled with Gloom's honey drool. :I am sure the power items only affect the holder. (Your question sounds like you're implying they affect entire party).  Eridanus (talk) 15:13, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
::(ec)Yeah, I'm not sure what you mean by stack, but they would affect whichever Pokémon was holding the item, and both would go off as long as both Pokémon were in the battle in any way.  So the lead Pokémon would get their Power Bracer effects and the Charizard would get their Power Bracer effects, but neither would get both. --<span style="color:#009900">It's</span> <span style="color:#CC66FF">Funktastic~!</span><small><span style="color:#99CCFF">話してください</span></small> 15:14, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
:::What about if Exp. Share was on, would the other Pokemon get 8 points from the two Power Bracers instead of 4? Yamitora1 (talk) 16:54, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

Not in Platinum
The page claims that the Power Accessories have their IV-breeding effect in Platinum, but I seriously don't think that's true. I just began breeding Horsea in Platinum, and my parents included a female Seadra holding an Everstone (nature reasons) and a Ditto with a Speed IV of 31 holding a Power Anklet. The offspring Horsea did not have 31 Speed IVs. Just thought I'd point this out, because I feel like this could use some further looking into. (Meanwhile, it's back to HeartGold for me.) :Yep, it was a new feature in HGSS. I'm not sure why that was there. I've corrected the page and contacted the user that added it. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 14:41, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
