I'm gonna be the one to bring it up...
Georgia's Beartic, does it deserve a page? Two influencial battles with Excadrill, a battle in the Don Battle and it helped clear all that moss, saving Iris and co. If the writing for the battles are fleshed out a bit the History section will be strong and Beartic also showed personality in each of its appearances, so what are we thinkin'? :"If the writing for the battles are fleshed out a bit the History section"... That part worries me. It may end up looking like a bit stetchy article, like we are trying way too hard to prove a point. If there is nothing much to tell then I don't see a reason to "flesh/flash" anything. Even Paul's Weavile is more notable than Georgia's Beartic. So, it is a 'no', as far as my opinion is concerned. <span style="color:#009900">♫♪</span> <span style="color:#A80000;">エイデ</span><span style="color:#003399;">ィニズ</span> <span style="color:#009900">♪♫</span> 13:06, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
::Doesn't every rival have a page for their main Pokémon? And besides, since this topic was last discussed, Beartic has appeared in the Junior Cup thingy too. Dilophosaurus Rex (talk) 00:30, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
:::The only Unova Rival (besides Goergia) who doesn't have at least 1 Pokémon with their own page is Burgundy. Beartic with its own page would be nice because there are a lot of things that could be discussed in the History Section. ::::Just to answer Dilophosaurus, Bianca's Emboar didn't have a page for a long time. Even if it's their main Pokémon, they aren't guaranteed a page unless they do something. Looking at Georgia's page, all of her Pokémon could get pages in my opinion. If a Pokémon has an episode focused on it (i.e. Her Vanilluxe), it could get a page. (That doesn't mean make a page for her other Pokémon. That's just me nudging the idea.) <span style="color:#C00;">★</span><span style="color:#C00;">Jo the Marten</span><span style="color:#C00;">★</span> <span style="color:#C00;">ಠ_ಠ</span><span style="color:#90C870;">♥</span> 01:05, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
:::::Well, yes, that was because Bianca's Minccino did more. But Beartic is Georgia's main Pokémon AND it's done the most (by far) out of all of her Pokémon. I'd say that if Paul's Magmortar and Trip's Conkeldurr get pages of their own, then Beartic should get one too. Dilophosaurus Rex (talk) 01:27, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
::::::You are forgetting that Georgia isn't exactly the same as Trip or Paul. They are/were the main rival of the series while Georgia is not. Conkeldurr also stood out far more than most of Trip's Pokémon. Beartic isn't that far ahead of Bisharp. Anyway, I'm thinking about it and someone has a page in the works. --<span style="color:#33CC66;">ケンジ</span><span style="color:#6600CC;">の</span><span style="color:#FF00CC;">ガール</span> 04:22, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Can we give Beartic a page now??RBK (talk) 17:08, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
:I'm sure we'll have to. It's her main Pokémon, it was included in all of Georgia's appearances (except the Clubsplosion), and it even helped Ash and co. clear all the moss in the Ferroseed episode. It made more appearances and did more notable things than either Magmortar or Conkeldurr (both mentioned above), and if they can have pages, I really don't see why Beartic wouldn't. == Japanese name origin ==
I think it could be drawing inspiartion the character of Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Mainly because her middle name is Langley and Soryu, although not exactly written the same as the town in which Iris is a Gym Leader, has the meaning of green dragon.

Georgia's Vanilluxe's gender
Excuse me, but how do you know Georgia's vanilluxe is a female? Do you have any prove if she (really) is female, considering that vanilluxe have no gender difference? CallMeRandomThings~
:Maybe because Ash's Oshawott is confirmed to be male, therefore Vanilluxe is female. And Don't bring up Charla and Ash's Charizard, neither of their genders are known.--<span style="color:#424B50">F</span><span style="color:#848A8D">orce</span><span style="color:#E3CED0">F</span><span style="color:#EDDFE0">ire</span> 13:27, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

:::Just to answer ForceFire, Charla is indeed female (she wears a pink bow, has a girl's name in both the original and the dub, and Liza even said so herself). Of course that's not relevant here, but I just thought I'd clear that up.
:::As for Vanilluxe, I don't recall Iris saying that she's female, and even if she did, it's most likely an assumption since Iris wouldn't know herself (like Pansage and Krokorok). But Vanilluxe was clearly in love with Axew, and Oshawott fell in love with her. It wouldn't make any sense if Vanilluxe was also male (for obvious reasons). ::::In the original version, Iris asks Georgia if Vanilluxe is a girl because it was flirting with Axew. Georgia replies "Yes, got a problem with that?" == An easily-overlooked tidbit ==
This is probably just a bit of an observation, but should it be noted that Georgia is the only one out of the seven Unova rivals who isn't known to have at least one badge (Burgundy has the Trio Badge, and all other Unova rivals are in fact competing in the Unova League)? ::True, but I still thought it was worth mentioning. Besides, Burgundy nor Stephan never had any goals about that either (at least none that were explicitly stated or still standing), yet they still have badges of their own. == In Game Reference ==
In Black and White 2, there's a Pokéfan in the Celestial Tower named Georgia, and her only Pokémon is a Cubchoo.  Could this be a posible reference to the anime character? --<span style="color:green;">Zewis</span> <span style="color:blue;">(29)</span> 16:23, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Two things about Vanilluxe
at 19:58, Iris told Georgia, "Although it's hard to admit it, Vanilluxe really saved the day. Hope you'll thank it for me." This brings up two things that are pretty much left out:
1. Iris referred to Vanilluxe as an "it" and not a "she" , so Vanilluxe's gender isn't confirmed.
2. Georgia's response was, "Well, if I get the chance." Does that not imply that Vanilluxe is no longer or going to be with her anymore (meaning that she released or gave it away)? <span style="color:aqua">☆</span><span style="color:teal">Gamer</span><span style="color:gold">Geek</span><span style="color:orange">☆</span> 23:00, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
:Pokemon are always call it, regardless if their gender has been revealed or not. Ataro (talk) 00:02, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
::Shouldn't we remove the gender then? I don't recall Iris calling it a "she" (at least not in the dub; I don't know Japanese, and I can't find a subbed version of the episode). <span style="color:aqua">☆</span><span style="color:teal">Gamer</span><span style="color:gold">Geek</span><span style="color:orange">☆</span> 03:20, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
:::IT was called a she in the original Japanese dub. Anything said in the Japanese overrides anything said in the dub.--<span style="color:#424B50">F</span><span style="color:#848A8D">orce</span><span style="color:#E3CED0">F</span><span style="color:#EDDFE0">ire</span> 03:22, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
::::Ok, but that doesn't answer my second question: shouldn't Vanilluxe be in a "released" or "formerly owned" section? Georgia's dialogue at the end of the episode implied that she didn't have it anymore, and she even said she caught it to use it against Iris, yet she hasn't done so even once. == Georgia's Beartic ==
Uh. So why is Georgia's Beartic not allowed an article, yet other rivals (with the exception of Burgundy) have at least one page for one of their Pokémon? Despite the fact it's appeared in nearly every episode Georgia has been in. --<span style="color:#785C3E;">Reli</span><span style="color:#FF3300;">★</span><span style="color:#C2A385;">ジーランス</span>? 17:30, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
