:While I've seen it done both ways, articles should definitely not be switching between the two. I noticed that neither this or the [[Bulbapedia:Manual of style/Anime|Anime Manual of Style]] mentioned the preferred tense. This would mean that things like "Charmander is a {{type|Fire}}" are incorrect, but things like "{{p|Charmander}} is a {{t|Fire|Fire type}}" '''are''' correct. In this case, "Fire type"/"Fire-type" is a noun anyway. You don't say adjectives after "is a(n)", you use nouns (e.g. "He is a runner" instead of "He is a running").
